WP7Dropbox library is go!

In my original post on WP7Dropbox, I said I’d be releasing a library for anyone else that wants to integrate Twitter support in their app.

That time has come, and you can now download the library (and source code) from Codeplex. It’s under GPLv2, but contact me if your needs can’t be met under that license.

Currently, their are some functions missing (I’m working on them) but most things should be done soon.

    Nice one mate!

    Getting excited about WP7 now!

  2. Simon says:

When is this awesome app being released?

  3. Neoxphuse says:

When do we expect a release? If this can sync with Office documents and open them up, it’s going to rule.

    Will there be previews?

Sounds great! In the transition from iPhone to WP7 now and this would make the decision so much easier. My wife will find the Office integration a much needed too for work. Can’t wait for it!

Good stuff. One thing. Correct the link to Codeplex in your post. WordPress is currently treating it as a relative link. Throw an http:// on the front of it, and WP should treat it as absolute.

I don’t think anyone will be able to use a GPL’d library for an app they want to release through the Marketplace: http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/news/2011/02/windows-phone-marketplace-bans-the-gpl-and-the-app-store-should-too.ars

My htc hd7 says cannot download file! Windows phone doesn’t support .dll files. Does that mean I’m gonna have to hack my phone.

  8. markpit says:

@Balliver this is a library for developers to use in their apps, not an app you run on your phone.
